Cornelius Collins & Polina Kroik

As the societies of the world continue to be reconfigured by transformations in the relations of capital and labor, for analytic insight we are considering works of imaginative literature especially alert to current conditions. This workshop session will explore depictions of contemporary processes of exploitation, migration, and marginalization through examples drawn from such leading writers as Gloria Anzaldua, T. C. Boyle, Héctor Tobar, Thomas Pynchon, and Roberto Bolaño.
